Our vision for The Royal Canadian Legion’s Centenary in 2026 is to inspire all community members to stand with us in honouring Remembrance, supporting Veterans, and building a stronger community. Together, we will celebrate 100 years of volunteerism, while continuing our proud legacy of honour, advocacy and service to community and country — carrying it forward for the next century.

Our mission for 2026 is to present a year-long, multi-faceted campaign that not only inspires our community to join the Legion and support our efforts but also deepens our connection to the sacrifices made by Veterans. By celebrating our 100-year legacy of service and volunteerism, strengthening relationships with Veterans and the community, and promoting remembrance, we aim to ensure the Legion’s success and our continued support of Veterans and Remembrance for generations to come. 

January 1st, 2026 - Marks the beginning of a year-long celebration for Branch 10.  There’s   something for everyone ….  hope you’ll join us!

 

• Please join us for an old-fashioned Levee - 11am-3pm There will be the Pipes of Fire for entertainment, and Moose Milk for all. Greet your  neighbours and share your hopes for the coming year.

• Blackfoot Cultural Experience – February - food, traditional dancing, stories. 

• Centennial Dart Shoot – May 2nd

• Centennial Cribbage Tournament – April 18th

• Vintages for Veterans Wine Tasting Evening – June 20th open to the community, 18+.  

• July 17th marks the Anniversary of the 1st Legion in Canada - join us for a commemorative service, birthday cake and Friday Night Fun at the Branch.

• Fall - Community Talent Show

• October 3rd - Branch 10 Charter Gala – a very special evening for Veterans and Legion Members alike.  Put on your formal attire and dance the night away.

• December - Children’s Christmas Party songs, games, elves and of course Santa.
